Under artificial light, plants are always in 'summer'. Water and fertilize as in summer year-round. No need to reduce anything.

Golan Heights (Katzrin): Special climate!

Winter is colder than on the coast (it snows!). Summer is hot but not extreme. Advice about cold windows in winter is relevant! Main enemies: dry air from heating in winter + air conditioning in summer.

Gradually increase watering. Plants are waking up and starting active growth.

Water in the morning
Check moisture more often

Start applying fertilizers. Begin with 1/4 dose, then transition to full.

First feeding in March

🛑 ⚠️ Warning: Wet feet + Cold = Death

In winter in Katzrin, the windowsill can be +10°C. If roots are wet, rot starts in 24h. Water only when substrate is dry!

❄️ Special Plants in Winter

Alocasia

May drop leaves and go dormant (tuber). Don't discard!

Schlumbergera /

Water once a month or less. Cold wintering (+10...+15°C).

Adenium

Complete drying. Leaf drop is normal.
